This is the most powerful router in the GL.iNet line-up. Tri-band IEEE 802.11be (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz + 6 GHz) with aggregate speeds of up to 9300 Mbps, five 2.5G Ethernet ports and built-in WireGuard and OpenVPN support — all of which makes the Flint 3 the ideal solution for demanding users, large networks and small offices with dozens of devices connected at once.

Full VPN protection for the entire network

The Flint 3 supports the WireGuard and OpenVPN protocols (client and server) at the router level — all traffic from every device on the network passes through an encrypted tunnel automatically. There’s no need to install a VPN client on each phone, laptop or TV separately. Both protocols deliver speeds of up to 680 Mbps — WireGuard by default, and OpenVPN thanks to built-in DCO support (kernel-level encryption acceleration). We recommend the GemiGuard VPN service for maximum compatibility and performance.

IEEE 802.11be and MLO technology

The Flint 3 supports Multi-Link Operation (MLO) technology, which combines several radio bands into a single connection to reduce latency and improve stability. Together with 4K QAM, enhanced OFDMA and preamble puncturing, this delivers ultra-fast and stable wireless connectivity even in a congested environment. Wi-Fi coverage reaches up to 185 m² (2000 sqft). Simultaneous connections — over 124 devices.

Five 2.5G Ethernet ports and Dual WAN

The Flint 3 is equipped with five 2.5G Ethernet ports (1 WAN + 1 WAN/LAN + 3 LAN), delivering maximum wired-connection speeds for NAS servers, gaming consoles, workstations and video streaming. The LAN1 port can be switched into a second WAN mode to set up Dual WAN with load balancing and automatic failover to a backup channel. USB tethering via the USB 3.0 port is also supported — handy as an extra backup internet source when your main connection goes down.

OpenWrt, AdGuard and parental controls

The OpenWrt v23.05 operating system gives you full control over settings, updates and over 5000 additional packages. AdGuard is already installed and blocks ads, trackers and phishing sites across the entire network. Built-in parental controls with Bark support let you filter content, enable safe search and limit internet usage time.

GemiGuard Mirage for the Flint 3

On request, we install GemiGuard Mirage — a special version tailored for the Flint 3. Mirage strengthens the router’s privacy: it encrypts DNS queries, randomises MAC and BSSID, wipes system logs and removes the history of connected Wi-Fi clients. This is an additional layer of anonymity for users who value confidentiality.
